A content studio for brands that publish like they premiere.

SIERRA is a content studio for lifestyle brands, producing film and photography that share one idea of what good looks like. Campaign after campaign, format after format, one brand that always looks like itself.

From Amsterdam and Barcelona we work across fashion, sport, travel, music, and food, for brands directly and for the agencies that bring us in. Since 2018 the promise has stayed the same: the tenth deliverable is held to the standard of the first.

The studio behind the work

Studio, for us, describes the people rather than a postcode. Directors, photographers, producers, and editors who work side by side, so a campaign that needs film and stills is planned once and made by one crew. It is why brands that compare creative video studios keep landing on the same question: who will actually be in the room? At SIERRA you know the answer before the shoot.

The core of that team is fixed: directors and photographers from our own roster, producers who know how our sets run, and the editors and graders who finish what they started. When a production needs more hands, we add creative freelancers we have worked with across Europe, folded into the same process rather than bolted on.

It also keeps the answer to that question honest. The director you meet in the treatment phase is the director on set; the producer who planned the schedule is the one holding it. No layers between you and the people making the work.

What a content studio does differently

A production company is hired for a project; a content studio is hired for a rhythm. Brands that publish week after week need more than a supplier per campaign: they need a place where their visual world is kept, developed, and applied to whatever comes next. That is what brands hire content studios for, and it is the way SIERRA works.

In practice it means one creative memory across everything. The colour that was graded into last season's film informs this season's stills. The casting, the locations, the pace of the edit: decisions stack instead of starting over. Whether you call that a creative production studio or a content studio, the value is the same: nothing you publish looks like it came from somewhere else.

The difference shows sharpest under pressure. A launch gets pulled forward, a channel wants a new format, a campaign suddenly needs a sequel: a content studio absorbs that in stride, because the thinking, the look, and the team are already in place. That is the quiet advantage of a creative studio over a rotating cast of suppliers, and it is not something you can buy per project.

Continuity, range, and craft

Continuity. The longer we work with a brand, the better the work gets. Briefings shrink because we already carry the context; references come from your own previous productions instead of someone else's moodboard. A content studio only makes sense as a relationship, and we build it that way from the first project.

Range. Film and photography, hero campaigns and the content in between, a full production one month and a focused shoot the next. Because everything comes from the same studio, scale changes without the look changing. You decide the size of the production; the standard is not part of that conversation.

Craft. A faster cadence is never an excuse for a flatter image. However big or small the production, it gets real direction, real light, and a real grade, exactly like the campaigns that made our name. That is the difference between content and filler, and it is why our clients rate us 4.9 out of 5 on Clutch.

How we work as a creative content studio

It starts like any good production: a brief, a treatment, a shoot planned to the hour. The difference is what we plan for. As a creative content studio we design every shoot to feed more than one output, so a single production day can carry a campaign film, the stills, and the shorter formats that follow.

From there it becomes a rhythm. Some brands never really leave: one campaign flows into the next. Others begin with one production and come back when the next brief lands. As a content production studio we keep the thread between those moments: what was shot, what worked, and the visual decisions that should not be reinvented every quarter.

And because content today lives as much in a feed as on a screen, we produce with both in mind: high-end work first, thoughtfully formatted for wherever it lands, never content for content's sake. Send us the brand, the ambition, and what a year of content should feel like, and we will lay out what one studio can do with it. We move mountains to bring your ideas to life.

Frequently asked questions about content studios

A content studio is a creative team that produces a brand's visual output on an ongoing basis: films, photography, and the variations both need to work everywhere the brand shows up. Where most production work is organised around a single project, the studio is organised around the brand itself, which is what keeps everything it makes recognisably consistent.
Campaign films, brand films, music videos, and the photography that runs alongside them, plus the shorter versions each of those needs. If it carries your logo and a lens was involved, it is the kind of work we take on.
Mostly in what survives between projects. A per-project setup starts from zero each time: new briefing, new references, new interpretation of the brand. A content studio carries your visual world forward, so every production builds on the last instead of beside it. You can absolutely start with a single project at SIERRA; the difference shows from the second one.
No. Plenty of our work starts as one campaign or one film, and we treat a single production with the same seriousness as a long collaboration. The studio model simply means that when you return, the groundwork is waiting: the grade, the casting, and the choices behind them, ready to be picked up again.
Yes, with one caveat: we make it the way we make everything else. Social-ready work comes out of real productions, shot and graded to the same standard as the hero film, then formatted for the feed. High-volume, low-craft output is a different kind of supplier; what we bring is social content with a cinematic finish.
Whenever the concept calls for one. We arrange the right studio or location for each production, and studio and equipment rentals are part of our production services. Whether a film is shot on a set or on location is a creative decision first: some ideas need controlled light and a clean floor, others need the world outside.
From our offices in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and from wherever a production needs to happen. Our crews travel across Europe and further afield, and both offices operate as a single studio, with one roster and one way of working.
However you like: a campaign brief, a yearly content plan, or just the feeling that your output no longer looks like one brand. We respond within one business day, and the first conversation is about your visual world before it is about deliverables. From there we propose a first production and, if it makes sense, the shape of what comes after.
