The Copenhagen-based Director/ D.O.P duo: VIDA is rooted in tropical counter culture and cold suburban concrete. Once upon a time Christian was shooting rugged skate videos in his home in Gran Canaria , while Kris was selected for a CPH:DOX directors’ talent competition with a film about two male strippers becoming reggaeton stars in South America. Shortly after, the two joined forces for the first time with the music video for “ Ses Senere” by rapper Artigeardit. Combining a raw documentary style approach with clean cinematic craftsmanship. For some, this became a low-key cult classic. For VIDA it became their genesis and the first time anybody’s had a rapper hotboxing in an electical car from the eighties. Now VIDA continue to excel full speed, combining a raw documentary style approach with clean cinematic craftsmanship.VIDA VIDI VICI!
