At SIERRA, we believe creativity evolves with technology. That’s why we are about to launch a new offering: fully AI-generated photo production. This approach combines human creative direction with cutting-edge generative tools. The result? Campaigns with the same aesthetic quality, narrative intention, and visual impact as traditional productions, but with expanded possibilities in time, form, and style.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection by Dutch brand La Fam was our first fully AI-generated campaign. The creative direction drew inspiration from raw youth culture, post-Soviet documentary aesthetics, and early 2000s street energy. Themes of rebellion, disobedience, and tenderness coexist in a visual narrative that feels both cinematic and spontaneous. The moodboard we developed together with La Fam, titled Young & Reckless, became our compass.
Our goal: to create a series of images that felt as if they had been captured in the middle of real life, unfiltered, unpredictable, and emotionally charged, without ever stepping onto a real set.
If you’ve worked on a traditional photo shoot, this process might feel surprisingly familiar. The difference is how we execute each phase. Faster, with more flexibility, and fully digitally. The creative rigor stays the same.
Just like in physical productions, everything starts with a strong foundation. We dig deep into your brand’s identity, campaign goals, and emotional intent. We then craft the visual concept, define character styles, locations, lighting, and the overall aesthetic world.
Instead of scouting locations or booking models, we prepare creative assets to 'feed' the AI. Product shots, textures, brand guidelines, and references are organised. From there, we engineer detailed prompts, both visual and written, to guide generation.
Here, we replace the physical shoot day with a generation sprint. We create hundreds of AI-generated visuals based on our approved strategy. Then we curate, refine, and select the best results.
Final visuals are polished using our signature post workflow: color grading, compositing, realism tuning, and delivery in multi-platform formats.
